Microbiological operations at Annai Diagnostics were started in Jan’15. Since then we strive to serve the demands of public health by catering to the needs of the medical community, through complete manual processing of all clinical samples like plating, biochemical identification, and antibiogram analysis using 27 antibiotics.

Same of the routine performed inclue:

Screening of clinic samples for the possible presence of bacterial and fungal pathogens, Aerobic blood culture to detected bactermia / septicemia.
Bacteremia – A condition that refer to presence of bacterial members in the blood, may lead to serious consequence like multiorgan failure We screen blood samples with specific media for the presence of enteric and non-enteric pathogens, with a strict 7-day incubation regime to rule-out any positive infection.

Mycobacterial studies that include AFB staining and grading as per RNTCP:

Tuberculosis – the ninth leading cause of death in the world and the leading causes of infection from a single infectious agent is cause by Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
